Newsletter 15th November

Dear Parent/Guardian,
Spelling meeting
Mrs Kent is running a meeting for parents to explain our approach to teaching spelling in school. She will also talk about things that you can do at home to support spelling and phonics. This will be from 6.30-7.30pm on Monday 26th November and there will be a crèche.
Book Fair
Many thanks to everyone who came and supported the book fair, we sold £534-15 worth of books, which gave us £260-49 commission to spend on books for the school.
Christmas Bazaar
The PTA Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday 15th December from 11am-1pm. There will be stalls and refreshments and of course Santa will be here in his grotto. We are having a mufti day in school on Friday 7th December when the children in reception, year 1 and year 2 are asked to bring in sweets or chocolates and children in years 3, 4, 5 and 6 are asked to bring in a bottle for the tombola stalls at the bazaar. If you have any unwanted items which could be used in the “secret gift” room then please send them into the school office.

Tickets are now on sale for the reception, year 1 and year 2 Christmas production. They will be limited to 3 per family in the first instance. Please send your orders to school by 29th November.
