The end of year leavers’ service will be held in the church at 2pm on the last day of term- Tuesday 24th July. Everyone is welcome to join us.
We are extremely pleased with our SATs results again this year. All of our results were above the national expectations, with a considerable number of pupils exceeding expectations in KS2. Well done to all of our children and staff who have worked so hard this year to achieve their best.
We are very sorry to be saying goodbye to Claire Norman who has worked at the school for a number of year as a teaching assistant and lunchtime supervisor. We are very sorry to see her go, but we wish her all the best.
The PTA school discos will run on Friday. Reception and KS1 5-6pm and KS2- 6.15-7.30pm. If you have not already booked a place it will cost £3. Forms are available from the school office.
We are really pleased to inform you that the children’s toilets are to be refurbished over the summer holidays. A number of quotes were obtained and various plans considered and it has been decided to create a unisex provision with 6 cubicles. This is in line with many other schools locally, especially those in the secondary sector and is looking to comply with equalities and diversity regulations. The Governors think that this is the best option for the school both now and in the future.
Please remember that we have pupils in school who have nut allergies. We would be grateful if you could avoid putting nuts or nut products in your child’s lunchboxes or bringing them into school.
