Our best wishes and congratulations go to Ms Kelly Underdown who is getting married this Saturday.
There is a meeting on Tuesday June 5th at 6.00pm, for approximately 45 minutes, to provide an update on how Maths is being taught throughout the school.
There will be a cake sale at the end of the day today on the playground. The PTA will be providing refreshments at sports day from 12.30pm
The dates planned for the children to share their learning in celebration assembly are as follows, Y1/2-8/6/18, Y3/4-15/6/18, Y5/6-22/6/18, YR-6/7/18, Y1/2-13/7/18, Y3/4-20/7/18
I have had a number of concerns brought to me by local villagers and other parents about the inconsiderate parking and driving at the beginning and end of the day.
Please do not bring your children up to school in the car, park at the bottom of the hill and walk up. Please do not park in the staff car park or around the side of the church.
There have been a number of near accidents from cars driving too quickly near school, either with other cars or pedestrians. Many thanks to those parents who walk, or park away from the school and walk up, making the area safer for children.
We would really appreciate some more help with hearing readers across the school. If you, or someone you know, could spare an hour or so of your time each week, please let your child’s class teacher know.
Please remember that we have pupils in school who have nut allergies. We would be grateful if you could avoid putting nuts or nut products in your child’s lunchboxes or bringing them into school.
