Having received the report on Friday, it was sent out to all parents. I hope you have received a copy of the report, if not please contact the school office and we will print one for you. It confirms that the school continues to be good, with many strengths. We are very pleased that these strengths have been recognised and that our next steps involve continuing the work that we are doing. Many thanks again for your support with the questionnaire and on the day.
World Book Day
Our theme for World Book Day on Thursday 1st March is “Mr Men and Little Miss”. Children are invited to dress up as one of the characters from the books. We are also holding a books for breakfast event too from 8.15-.9.30am. Please join us if you can.
Year 3/4 production
At the end of this term the children in years 3 and 4 will be performing the music from “Robin Hood”. They are rehearsing during their music sessions on Thursday afternoons. This will be held on the afternoon of Tuesday 27th March and the evening of Wednesday 28th March. Tickets will be available soon.
(Please note this will replace the instrumental concert as pupils are now getting the opportunity to perform regularly at the open mic sessions.)
Please come and join us for the Mother’s Day coffee morning on Saturday 3rd March. We will be serving drinks and cakes, and there will be stalls to buy treats for mums and crafts to make. It starts at 11am.
Our final inset day for this year has been set for Friday 25th May. The children will not be in school that day and the staff will be attending training.
Please be aware that we have some children in school who are allergic to nuts. Please try to avoid putting nuts or nut products into children’s lunchboxes.
