Dear Parent/Guardian,
Macmillan coffee morning
The year 5 and 6 class are hosting a coffee morning tomorrow at 9.00am-10.30am. Please come and join us and support this worthwhile charity. Any contributions of cakes/biscuits would be gratefully received.
Jeans for Genes
Many thanks for your support of this charity day; altogether we raised £96-62p
We now have a new committee who will be led by Melissa Payne who has stepped into the role of Chair. The first event of the year is the Quiz night at the Black Boy pub in Oving on Tuesday 10th October. Please book to support this event, more details can be found on the PTA facebook page or on the school website.
Celebration Assembly
This will be on Friday afternoons at 2.40pm-3.00pm and will start this week. The dates on which the classes will be sharing their learning are; 15/9- Y1 and 2, 22/9- YR, 29/9- Y3 and 4, 6/10- Y5 and 6, 13/10- Harvest service, 20/10- Y1 and 2. Everyone is welcome to join us but please bear in mind that this is our daily act of worship and we would be grateful if you could be respectful of this.
October round pound challenge
Throughout the month of October each class will be collecting the old round pounds which are soon to go out of circulation. There will be a collecting box in each class, and at the end of the month they will be able to choose resources for their classroom.

Please be aware that we have some children in school who are allergic to nuts. Please try to avoid putting nuts or nut products into children’s lunchboxes.

Friday 29th September- Macmillan coffee morning
Friday 13th October- Harvest service in church 2pm
Friday 20th October- break up
Tuesday 31st October- pupils return to school
