Newsletter 5th July

Dear Parent/Guardian,
End of year reports
Your children will be bringing home their end of year reports tomorrow at the end of the school day. These are brief summative reports to celebrate what they have achieved over the year.
Sports Day
Many thanks to everyone who came and supported the school sports day on a glorious, hot, sunny afternoon. Congratulations to Verney House who won by a very small margin of 5 points.
The PTA raised £445.64 at sports day through refreshment and raffle ticket sales.
Many thanks to everyone who helped out, and to Elliot Wallis for bringing up his coffee van and making a generous donation from his takings on the afternoon.
Celebration assemblies
The dates planned for the children to share their learning in celebration assembly are as follows, YR-6/7/18, Y1/2-13/7/18, Y3/4-20/7/18
Reading Helpers
We would really appreciate some more help with hearing readers across the school. If you, or someone you know, could spare an hour or so of your time each week, please let your child’s class teacher know.
Please remember that we have pupils in school who have nut allergies. We would be grateful if you could avoid putting nuts or nut products in your child’s lunchboxes or bringing them into school.

The list of dates for next year is attached to this newsletter. Please keep this for reference and note them down.
