Many thanks for the kind support and positive comments about the school during our Ofsted inspection. It was a long day for everyone, and we now have to wait for a couple of weeks for the report to be published. The children were amazing throughout the day and were a real credit to the school. We were very proud of them.
Monday 19th February
We have the Happy Puzzle Company coming in on the first day after half term to run problem solving activities with the children in a Code Box day. They will have some of their products available to purchase at the end of the day if you are interested.
We also have a biking day for Reception and KS1, so a busy day all in all. If any of these children have their own bike, with working brakes, they may bring them in at the start of the school day.
The school photographer will be coming into school on Wednesday 21st February. If you wish for younger siblings who are not at school to be photographed you may bring them in at the beginning of the school day.
Year 5/6 will share their learning on 9/2, year 1/2 on 23/2, YR on 2/3, Y3/4 on 9/3, Y5/6 on 16/3, Y1/2 on 23/3.
The children are having many opportunities to go out on trips and visits as well as sporting opportunities. When we take them off site staff need to have up to date contact details with them in case of emergencies. We realise that this results in you having to complete the contact forms on numerous occasions. We are happy to accept these electronically, so if you save a completed form on your computer at home you can send it in each time, but please ensure that you keep your contact details updated.
Please be aware that we have some children in school who are allergic to nuts. Please try to avoid putting nuts or nut products into children’s lunchboxes.
