Topic Web summer 2nd half 2018
Learning Logs will come home on a Thursday and need to be returned to school by the following Wednesday. Please remember that homework can be completed in any form you choose and encourage your children to be as independent and creative as possible.
We will be having times tables tests every Monday and the children will record which times table they are currently working on in the back of their Learning Logs. The children need to practise reading and spelling the Y3/4 Common Exception Words. These words can be found on the Y3/4 webpages.

It is essential that your child has their reading book and yellow reading journal with them EVERY DAY in school. Children may be reading from the school reading scheme or may now be responsible for choosing their own reading book either from the class book corner or from home. Reading with your child is vital and it’s best to read little and often, so try to put aside some time for it every day.

Our science topic is Skeletons and Muscles, where through a large range of simple practical enquiries the children will become a team of personal trainers for clients in need of expert, health, dietary and training advice and will develop specialised knowledge, skills and understanding in nutrition, muscles, bones and joints and even conduct their own research in order to answer their client’s questions.
