Dear Parent/Guardian,

Harvest

Thank you to everyone who sent in donations for our collection of foods for the foodbank at Aylesbury Vineyard. They came and collected them on Wednesday and asked us to pass on their thanks.

Home learning support

Many thanks for the feedback which many of you have provided regarding the home learning provision in the summer term. We will be evaluating your responses and making any improvements where we can.

Please note: if your child has to stay off school due to themselves, or a contact, waiting for a Covid test or result then please encourage your child to read, learn/practice spellings/Common Exception words/phonics (please see the website for this information), use the online “Spellingframe” to support this and use the online maths learning resources such as RM/IXL or White Rose Hub. Please do not hesitate to contact school if you are in this situation and need further guidance or assistance.

Should there be a need for a longer period of time away from school, a complete pack of learning will be sent to you from the class teacher.

Governors

We are very pleased to let you know that Katherine Du Plessis will be joining our Governing Body. We do now have an additional vacancy as Tim Buckley has come to the end of his term of office on the Governing Board. We would like to thank Tim very much for his support of the school and his role in developing links with the community. If you are interested in supporting the Governing Body, or would just like some more information regarding the role, please get in touch with us.

Food allergies

Please be mindful that we have children in school with nut allergies. We ask that you do not put items with nuts or nut products into lunchboxes. Any break time snack which KS2 children bring must be fresh fruit or vegetables.

Easy Fundraising

Please remember that if you are ordering online many companies will donate a percentage of the cost to our school if you go through Easyfundraising. It is at no cost to you but benefits the school. Go to www.easyfundraising.org.uk
