Our latest newsletter!

Dear Parent/Guardian,

The children have settled back well after half term and are all continuing to adhere to the protocols which are still in place.

Thank you all for supporting our policy for social distancing at drop off and pick up times.

Unfortunately the village Remembrance service did not take place this year along with so many others. The children did however make wreaths which we have displayed in the front windows of the school and we held an outdoor reflection and silence on Wednesday morning.

Cars on School Hill

We would again like to request that you do not drive up to the school, or past the school, at drop off and pick up times. Over the last week we have had 2 near misses on School Hill involving parents.

We have continued to award certificates to pupils in each year group since September, however in response to parental requests we are sharing with you the names of the pupils who have received the certificates the previous week. Last week the awards went to the following pupils. YR-Lyla, Y1- Ellie, Y2-Lewis, Y3-Nadia, Y4-Harry, Y5-Casper, Y6-Lucy. Our congratulations go to those pupils.

Children in Need

We will be celebrating Children in Need day on Friday. The children are invited to come to school in mufti (no football shirts please). A contribution of £1 will go towards this charity. Weather permitting everyone will get together on the playground, socially distanced of course, to do the Strictly Children in Need dance.

Amazon Wish List

We are in the process of setting up a wish list on Amazon of books and resources which we are in need of. Once we have it set up we will send an email so that, should you wish to, you can purchase some resources for the school.

Easy Fundraising

Please remember that if you are ordering online many companies will donate a percentage of the cost to our school if you go through Easyfundraising. It is at no cost to you but benefits the school. Go to www.easyfundraising.org.uk

Food allergies

Please be mindful that we have children in school with nut allergies. We ask that you do not put items with nuts or nut products into lunchboxes. Any break time snack which KS2 children bring must be fresh fruit or vegetables.
