Dear Parent/Guardian,

Celebration certificates

We would like to congratulate the following children for demonstrating our school values of “compassion”, “curiosity” and “cooperation”, and receiving the certificates last week.

 YR-Amira, Y1-Ava B, Y2-Mabel and Jake, Y3-Hollie, Y4-Charlie, Y5-Alexa, Y6-Grace.

Amazon Wish List

We have now set up a wish list on Amazon of books and resources which we are in need of. Should you wish to, you can purchase some resources for the school. We would be really grateful for any help you feel you could give. Please use the link (You may need to cut and paste this link in the browser)

A big thank you for the items which we have already received.

Christmas cards

We know that the children like to send cards to their friends to wish them a happy Christmas. We are, however, asking that they restrict their cards to children within their own bubble. A collection box will be in each classroom to put them in.

If you wish to buy raffle tickets for the Christmas hampers please send money to the school office in a named envelope and the tickets will be sent home in due course. Tickets cost £2 per strip and 3 strips for £5. The draw will be made on 16th December.

The children have all designed their own calendars which are on sale for £1.50 each. You can order these through parent pay. Please state how many you would like and we will make them and send them home ASAP. We would ask that you place your order no later than 14/12/20 to allow us time to process your order.

Christmas activities

We are obviously limited to the activities and celebrations which we will be able to have this year, but we want the children to be able to celebrate and have fun. School Council have met and advised us of pupil suggestions. From this, we are planning some activities which they will be able to do during the last week of term and we will let you know in due course what we are hoping to do.

Easy Fundraising

Please remember that if you are ordering online many companies will donate a percentage of the cost to our school if you go through Easyfundraising. It is at no cost to you but benefits the school. Go to and register to donate to North Marston C E School

Food allergies

Please be mindful that we have children in school with nut allergies. We ask that you do not put items with nuts or nut products into lunchboxes. Any break time snack which KS2 children bring must be fresh fruit or vegetables.

14/12/20 – Calendar orders to be placed

16/12/20 – PTA raffle draw

18/12/20 – end of term   (school closes @ 3.10pm)

4/1/21 – INSET day – school closed to pupils

5/1/21 – School reopens to all pupils

Best Wishes,

Cathy Gouldstone and Lucy Kent

Our value for this term is compassion.
