Newsletter 25.06.20

Dear Parent/Guardian,

We hope you are all well and keeping safe.

Thank you to everyone in years 2, 3, 4 and 5 for keeping in touch and keeping going with the home learning. I know it is hard work keeping the balance and motivation, but unfortunately we don’t have capacity to bring all year groups into school safely and be able to follow the protocols which are in place. The teachers are doing their best to keep the variety of work set helpful and supportive.

We are making provision for the year 2 children to attend from next week, Mrs Caddick will work with them mornings only Monday – Thursday which is her usual working pattern.

We still have no definite indication of what the return to school will look like in September, but we will be optimistic and plan for a full return. We will obviously inform you of any adaptations to our provision should the government provide us with any further guidelines.

Our staffing plans for next year currently are as follows

Reception class- Mrs Manser

Year 1- Mr Armstead

Year 2- Mrs Tebbutt am, Mr Armstead pm

Years 3 and 4- Miss Giggins

Year 5 and 6- Mrs Price and Mrs Mobsby

Miss Scott will be leaving us at the end of the school year to widen her experience and work with secondary age pupils. We will miss her sporting prowess and support for PE and dance especially. With this in mind we have a vacancy for a teaching assistant in school 3 mornings a week with possible lunchtime supervisor hours also. If you are interested in this role, or know someone who may be, please ask for a Buckinghamshire council non-teaching application form from the office or download it from the Buckinghamshire council website.

Please take care and stay safe.

Best Wishes,

Cathy Gouldstone

Our value for this term is Courage.
